As a new realtor, getting your business off the ground can be challenging, and you may be wondering how to get more leads and find more clients. While no one answer will work for everyone, here are seven tips to help you build your book of business:

Reach out to your sphere of influence

Reach out to your sphere of influence– your family, friends, and past clients. These people already know, like, and trust you. They would be more likely to refer you to someone they know is buying or selling a home on the market.

Get involved in your community and networking groups

Get involved in your community and networking groups – Volunteer for local causes that you are passionate about. This is a great way to meet new people and get your name out there as a credible source for real estate information. Networking groups are also a great way to meet new professionals with a sphere of influence they can connect you to.

Educate yourself

Educate yourself – by being an expert in your field and mark, and you can advertise how well you know your stuff regarding real estate and your market. Do everything you can to be the local go-to person for information on the market, trends, etc.

Attend local events and functions

Attend local events and functions- by attending local events, and you will meet new people who live in your area. These people may be interested in buying or selling a home in the future or know someone in the market for an agent.

Use lead generation programs

Use lead generation programs– lead generation programs like StreetText allow you to collect leads from potential clients walking or driving near your office. With Facebook advertising, you can target potential clients who live in your area and are looking for a new real estate agent. This blog post will discuss how to use both of these tools to build your book of business!

Get digital

Get digital – ensure your website is up to date, informative, and user-friendly. This also goes for your social media profiles. You cannot underestimate the power of social media and the power it holds. Use platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share your listings, open houses, blog posts, etc., and stay current! You never know who might see your post, and reach out to you for more information!

Get creative

Get creative– there are endless possibilities when marketing your real estate business. Get creative and think outside the box to develop unique ways to get your name out there. Just because it hasn’t been done before doesn’t mean it won’t work.

By following these tips, you will be on your way to building your book of business as a new realtor. Just remember that it takes time and consistency to see results. Keep at it, and soon you will have a steady stream of clients!
