What would you say if I told you that there is a way to increase the number of clients you get from online leads by 80%? And you could do it without getting more leads or spending more money?
Well if you are wondering how, wonder no more…
It comes down to keeping in contact with leads using bi-weekly or monthly email newsletters.
Let me explain.
Out of 100 online leads 25 are going to be real opportunities. While only 2-5 will be qualified, ready and able to do business now. That leaves around 23 people who would do business with you in the future. But the majority of the time they are being lost because the person who generated the lead isn’t following up and converting them.
It can take a bit of time to get an email system in place to follow up with leads. I understand that. But it will be well worth it.
By leveraging great technology and implementing a better follow-up strategy you can generate more sales from less leads.
What to include in your emails.
Keep your leads up to date on the information they initially requested. For example, new listings in your area.
Be sure to include your contact information at the end of every email.
One of our clients made a really nice title page which their photo, business contact info, and a reason to get in touch. They make this the first page of the PDF they give to their leads in an email.
Also, at the end of your emails let them know that you available to help them if they have any questions. This will show your list that you are approachable.
How often should you send an email?
Send an email at least once per month. It will only take about 30 mins to put it together. Keeping in touch will ensure that you will be top of mind when your leads become ready and willing to work with an agent.
Conclusion:
Online leads can take up to 3-6 months to mature. There’s always the occasional lead that is ready to take action immediately. But focusing on the long game will improve your numbers and give you real prospects to forecast your future sales.
Lead Magnet is a great system to generate leads online.
